Many seniors miss out on public benefits for which they qualify because they are not aware of them.  BenefitsCheckUp is a free, online service from the National Council on the Aging and the Ohio Department of Aging that helps seniors identify state and federal assistance programs that can help improve their quality of life. This is a confidential service containing a simple questionnaire and only takes about 15 minutes to complete.  You are then provided with a report detailing programs and services for which you qualify.  Go to www.state.oh.us/age/Benefits.html
